This is an invitation to yoga and meditation students to participate in World Peace Meditations during which the brain waves (EEG and Evoked Potentials) of all participants worldwide are synchronized by a once-per-second electronic <a href="http://ca.geocities.com/globalchimes/globalchimes/playchime.htm">chime</a> phase-locked to Universal Time (UTC) and to the Global Positioning System (GPS).<br><br>
The aim of this specific method is to dramatically increase the efficiency of all meditators in achieving global consciousness awakening, thus requiring fewer participants to accelerate the transformation -- this is not a relaxation exercise but a focused, directed and intense transmission of love and compassion to the world.<br><br>
To help realize this vision, the Global Chimes project requests the participation of GPS and electronics hobbyists to obtain 1PPS-enabled surplus GPS receivers, to construct the GPS <a href="http://ca.geocities.com/globalchimes/globalchimes/Schematic.jpg">interface</a> hardware, to set up multimedia-enabled WIN98 laptops, to obtain and set up audio amplifiers, speakers and cabling and finally to network with local meditation and yoga circles to raise awareness and to set up actual meditation sessions.<br><br>
